This past weekend was definitely a great one – my family came to visit. I’ve only been at school for about a month, but I already miss them like crazy.
Family is really important to me. I can’t imagine feeling like I can’t tell my parents anything, or not getting along with my sister most of the time. I’m lucky, because I know there’s so many people out there who aren’t close with their immediate family, and sometimes there’s good reasons for that.
I always look forward to going home, or to a visit from the fam. They help remind me to take everything one day at a time, and to not stress out too much over the little things.
