Well, it’s been quite a while since I’ve written a blog post. 

Recently, the bug to start writing again has hit me. I mean, I’m always writing, just not online. Most of my writing stays safe and sound and unseen. But something about documenting my life and things I’m up to is fun in its own way, and I feel like I need to find my writing voice again. 

So here I am, shouting into the void again but this time around, I don’t care about how many people read this. A huge thing I’ve been trying to unlearn the last year or so is that I can just do things for fun, and that I don’t have to try and turn every hobby into something that actually makes money, or is seen by thousands of people. I can just do something for me and for my enjoyment and that’s enough. 

I’m going to write about a whole bunch of different things here–mostly about navigating my twenties, but also about living in Chicago, traveling, my journey in trying to become a published author, etc.

Anyway, I’m happy to be back. If you’re following along, I hope you have a good time.
